Jeff Casterline 
has always been at home on the coast. Born in Port Huron, Michigan and raised in Jensen Beach, Florida, he has had one foot in the sand the majority of his life. After attending high school in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jeff earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he met his future wife, Caryn.
After earning experience in the Mortgage industry, Jeff realized his passion was in real estate. Acquiring both his North and South Carolina Real Estate Broker Licenses in 2004, he moved to Myrtle Beach. Jeff and Caryn married in Myrtle Beach in 2006, and soon after, they rescued a Boxer, Molly Wigglebutts, and are proud to say she is now very happy and healthy. The couple was recently blessed with their first child, a beautiful baby girl named Riley Marie, who is truly a Daddy’s Girl.
Jeff and his family are proud Myrtle Beach Locals now, and have settled into the low country lifestyle. In the warmer months, they can be found carting everything down to the beach to spend the day on the sand, and grilling out the local fare with friends. The family attends Trinity Episcopal Church in Myrtle Beach. If Jeff isn’t busy working, you can find him on the softball field, or in a local watering hole having his heart broken by one Michigan sports team or another. Jeff enjoys playing golf and attending almost any kind of live music event. He is an advocate for Carolina Boxer Rescue and the March of Dimes, participating in many fundraisers for both organizations each year.
Jeff was a RE/MAX agent for five years, and proudly formed Beach Realty Group with his good friend Darren Woodard in early 2011. His primary areas of focus are high end homes and condos, land, and distressed properties. He is a licensed real estate broker in South Carolina and North Carolina, with designations including Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR).
Juliann DeForrest – REALTOR
Juliann DeForrest was born and raised in the very cold state of Maine. She grew up in a log cabin on two acres of land in northern Maine until she turned 13 and her parents finally decided it was time to move to civilization! So- they headed to south to the Portland area and settled in the nice quaint town of Westbrook. Her family has always been very close- her parents have been together for over 36 years and she’s the middle child with an older sister and a younger brother.
After graduating from high school she moved to Virginia to go to Old Dominion University. Unfortunately it only took one semester before out-of-state tuition forced her back to Maine. She had made a deep connection with Virginia though and within two years she moved back down on her own. Five years of waiting tables, going to school, and sewing her wild oats and she finally graduated!
The day she graduated she moved here to Myrtle Beach, SC. Slowly but surely her entire family has relocated here and she couldn’t be happier. Shortly after moving to Myrtle Beach she went to school and got her real estate license and has been a full time REALTOR with RE/MAX for six years now. She married her husband, Trip, in March of 2009, had their first son in Jan of 2010, and are expecting a little girl in April of 2011. They have two dogs, Kyzer and Maverick, and really appreciate every “family” moment they can spend together.
Juliann loves to travel—she’s been to Cancun, Hawaii, Greece, Australia, and New Zealand to name a few. She loves going to concerts, any sporting event live is amazing- in fact- she and her husband are season ticket holders for the Carolina Panthers (a true fan even during a season like 2010!). She enjoys nothing more than a good bottle of wine. She and her husband are avid fans of the water: boating, wakeboarding, jet skiing- they love it all!
Juliann has received the Executive Awards and 100% Club Award through RE/MAX International several times since working as an agent. Communication and knowledge are the foundation to her success.
